Celery Juice (in the morning!)
Consuming celery juice is a powerful habit to incorporate in your life, particularly first thing in the morning. Although juicing vegetables could never be trademarked by an individual, you'd be crazy not to connect the dots between this juice and Anthony Williams (The Medical Medium). In his book "Life Changing Foods," Anthony writes that fresh celery juice is one of the most powerful and healing juices one can drink, and that having it every morning on an empty stomach can transform your health and digestion in as little as one week.
I started incorporating fresh, organic celery juice to my morning routine following my 10 day water fast, as a way to pump my body with vitamins and minerals first thing- but more importantly (for me): to boost digestion! You see, your stomach acid (also called hydrochloric acid or HCL) can be at the root of so many ailments, ranging from celiac disease, to eczema, to food allergies, anemia, and chronic autoimmune disorders. Low stomach acid can cause bloating, iron and other mineral deficiencies, and many other symptoms that, well, suck. In a nutshell: low stomach acid = undigested food = gut irritation, and an inability to properly absorb the benefits of all your nutritious food, which can lead to a host of problems short and long term.
