Celery Juice (in the morning!)

Consuming celery juice is a powerful habit to incorporate in your life, particularly first thing in the morning. Although juicing vegetables could never be trademarked by an individual, you'd be crazy not to connect the dots between this juice and Anthony Williams (The Medical Medium). In his book "Life Changing Foods," Anthony writes that fresh celery juice is one of the most powerful and healing juices one can drink, and that having it every morning on an empty stomach can transform your health and digestion in as little as one week.

I started incorporating fresh, organic celery juice to my morning routine following my 10 day water fast, as a way to pump my body with vitamins and minerals first thing- but more importantly (for me): to boost digestion! You see, your stomach acid (also called hydrochloric acid or HCL) can be at the root of so many ailments, ranging from celiac disease, to eczema, to food allergies, anemia, and chronic autoimmune disorders. Low stomach acid can cause bloating, iron and other mineral deficiencies, and many other symptoms that, well, suck. In a nutshell: low stomach acid = undigested food = gut irritation, and an inability to properly absorb the benefits of all your nutritious food, which can lead to a host of problems short and long term. No bueno.

Check out a fascinating study about the impact of low HCL (stomach acid) on disease models HERE.

Celery juice's unique sodium makeup, and the way the mineral salts are bonded with many bioactive trace minerals and nutrients will naturally increase your body's production of HCL and ensure your starting your day revved up and ready to digest (and absorb) all the goodness of your food throughout the day. People often say "you are what you eat," but the reality is:

you are what you absorb.

  • Celery juice is rich in organic sodium content and has the ability to dislodge calcium deposits from the joints and hold them in solution until they can be eliminated safely from the kidneys. It is also an effective natural diuretic and has ample ability to flush toxins out of the body which makes it excellent to use on any weight loss program.

Whenever you're juicing, you want to make sure you are using organic produce. By juicing you are getting a potent concentration of all the contents of your ingredients- which pertains not only the the vast vitamins and minerals, but also all the pollutants your fruit and veg have been exposed to.
