Lunch / Dinner
My recipes reflect my way of eating: 100% organic, real food, full of colour, healthy fats, high quality protein, fermented foods, tones of vegetables, and made with love. A top priority for me is feeling amazing after I eat, which includes making sure my blood sugar is kept in check. I believe food is the greatest expression of self-love and self-care. Food is nourishment, it's fuel. It's a gift we give these bodies that we live in, and I passionately create incredibly nutrient dense meals, with no compromise on the mouth pleasure.
Most of my recipes are so simple, and rooted in the dietary wisdom of ancestral eating teachings by the legendary Weston A. Price. I personally consume next to nothing processed, and eat no grains, no dairy (once in a blue moon i'll cook with ghee), no added sugars or sweeteners, no legumes. It might sound extreme, but I live with no deprivation- I love food, food that makes me feel good. I've reached a place where I place nothing in my mouth that I'll regret later, and a massive part of that is finding ways to nourish my body with wholesome but delicious recipes. Goodbye cravings, goodbye guilt, goodbye shame, goodbye yo-yo dieting. My food ethos is eat real food, and eat as fucking much as you want of it.
I basically live in my kitchen, cooking brings me so much joy. I hope some of these recipes make their way into yours; I would love to see pictures, and hear tweaks you've made to make it your own.
Ps. Many (if not all) of the items on this section of the blog are not complete meals. Mix-and-match them and fill your plate full of vegetables, a healthy source of protein, and plenty of healthy fats- and you're good to go!
